K'nor waited to see when the kids would show up with their dragons in tow. If any forgot to bring his or her dragon he would send them back to make sure the youngster woke up, he needed to have them there. He was very set in this lesson the kids would share their memories good or bad with the Dragons. So that the youngster understood them completely, it would help them in the long run.

K'it who was impressed to Blue Chaamth was there as soon as he realized it was lesson time. He was very determined to do well in this lesson, he however saw the look on his father's face. He wanted to yell at him but he wasn't going to do that, it would only provoke him into transfering K'it to another Weyr.
Mine, why are you nervous? Chaamth asked his who merely shrugged and kept on walking toward his father. He wanted to make sure he did this lesson right and so far he was the only one there.

Z'war ended up being one of the first to show, and he had indeed remembered to bring Muzith. Both were yawning a little. Young dragons, like young humans, tended to keep their caregivers awake, or at least to wake them up in the middle of the night. None of the weyrlings had been getting all that much sleep. "Morning, sir," he said to K'nor.
This time, he found the courage not to hide in a corner, but he still wasn't going front and center!

"Good morning Z'war. Has Muzith been keeping you up?" K'nor asked a smile on his face he knew what was going on with the Weyrlings, as well as any other but he liked to speak with them and see how things were going. Kintrath was also feeling rather chiper this was his favorite of the lessons, he always had fun with this one because of the feelings that came his way.
{Good Morning young Muzith,} Kintrath greeted the young Cream and waited see what the youngster made of the greeting.

Z'war smiled. "A bit. I'll be glad when he's not waking up hungry at 3am." He knew they stopped doing that, so...well. He'd be even gladder when Muzith was getting his own food from the feeding grounds.
Morning, Muzith sent back, with a yawn that indicated the cream was not all that awake either. He had grown...the size of a larger blue, perhaps, although not the largest. Cupith was larger.

T'rin and Byronth arrived, apparently third. The young Blue's hide was glistening from a recent oiling, they had been awoken early that day by Byronth's itching hide. T'rin's mind felt fully awake but his eyes didn't, they were dry and he had to keep blinking them to get rid of the feeling.
You still look very tired Mine, Byronth commented. T'rin only scratched the dragonet's eyeridge affectionately.

"All right if I have to go and find the other Weyrlings, they won't like the punishment detail I put them on. I give them one more hour," K'nor said his voice was sincere about it to, he was proud to see his son there and that he had impressed to a dragon.
"For those of you who are already here, how many can tell me what the bond is that you have with your dragon?" K'nor asked he knew his son could tell him if no one else could because the boy was a weyrbrat.

Z'war rested one hand on Muzith. "It's all in our heads," the former drudge said. He wasn't clear on the technical terms. "I mean..." He tailed off. "I'm not good at explaining stuff, sir. I'm sorry."
Mor, his bronze firelizard, flickered in and landed on Muzith's neck.

T'rin gave the Weyrlingmaster a confused look. "Tell you what the bond is with our dragons?" It was just some sort of mind link... he didn't really know. Byronth apparently didn't either, his eyes flickered different shades in confusion as he considered the question. "Like how well we know and understand each other or just what it is? Can that really be explained?"
More questions is no way to reply to a question, Byronth put in, giving his friend's side a playful nudge.

"Good thinking to the both of you. That was a trick question no has ever been able to answer that question as yet." K'nor smiled at the looks of confusion on the Weyrlings faces. He wondered about his son, and whether or not the boy would say anything.
**************************************************************************
K'it pondered a moment before saying something he wasn't quite sure if he should or not but he decided to anyway. He looked up at his father and then spoke carefully as he mulled over his words.
"It is a bond that can not be explained with mere words, either you understand or you don't." K'it told him as he looked at his other classmates who seemed confused by the question.
Well done Mine! Chaamth told his rider as he looked at the other blue.

Z'war couldn't help but laugh. "It's something that has to be experienced, I guess." His eyes flicked to Muzith.
Why do you even worry about it? You are mine and I am yours. Riders think too much. The young cream nudged at his partner.
Z'war laughed again. "Sorry. Muzith has it all worked out...in dragon fashion."

A trick question T'rin laughed softly out loud even though his words were only to Byronth, Maybe my questions were good replies then.
Maybe. Byronth still seemed unsure about that, but his teasing tone overrode his confusion. I think Chaamth's Mine has a better answer though.
T'rin couldn't really deny that- some sort of sentence was definately better than a question. And K'it's answer had sounded very good anyways. He leaned over to whisper in the fellow Bluerider's ear, "Byronth says good job." He smiled at him and straightened back up, watching the Weyrlingmaster at least somewhat attentively.

"Thank you," K'it whispered back to the other Bluerider he was pleased that a dragon had told him he had done well. He was happy with the fact that a dragon had found his answer to make sense it made him feel good.
Mine you are smart. Chaamth told His who blushed at his dragons compliment.
**************************************************************************
K'nor smiled but he was still shocked at the fact that the other weyrlings were not here yet, he was getting angry about the other weyrling. He then thought about something he turned to them and told them, the following. "I want a paper on ways you would explain a dragons bond to Candidates, by the following lesson in two weeks." K'nor waited to see what they would say next.

Z'war flinched inwardly. A paper meant the weyrlingmaster would see his all but illegible scrawl and probably send him for remedial writing lessons.
Then again, that might not be a bad idea if he could find somebody who could help with it. He hesitated and then ventured, "Sir?"

"Yes Weyrling Z'war?" He asked wondering what it was the boy needed if his hand writing was as illegible as his own then it might not be so bad. After all K'nor could only write the smallest of words and sentences with out trouble.

"My handwriting is really...umm...sometimes *I* can't read it," Z'war admitted. It was true. He'd made notes to himself then spent hours trying to decipher them.
Which was annoying. Maybe he did need...tuition.
