"Hmm?" T'rin hadn't quite understood this lesson from the start. This bond between him and his dragon was just... a bond of some sort. He couldn't think of what sort of games the Weyrlingmaster could come up with that could make it stonger.... Hadn't he heard somewhere that it was traumatic experiences that seemed to bring people closer? T'rin folded his arms over his chest and watched K'nor, his thoughts whirling in odd directions.

Byronth glanced at Chaamth in surprise, sensing and seeing the dragon's obvious concern at something or other. What is it?

He glanced at the confused T'rin, then his attention was all back on the weyrlingmaster. He felt a certain amount of pride that *he* had not been late.
