  Terlara is a petite girl who looks like she could not possibly have the strength to be a rider. She is delicate in appearance, but also almost boyish, with small breasts and narrow hips.

• Personality: Terlara is outwardly a sweet little thing, wrapped around a core of steel. She is absolutely and entirely aware that everyone underestimates her, and not at all above using this to her own advantage. She makes up for her size with incredible toughness and surprising stamina. As a friend, she is incredibly loyal, as an enemy, she holds grudges forever. She is dedicated to her work and determined that her dragon *is* out there. She seldom lets her hair down, but when she does party, she parties hard and has been known to over-indulge and sometimes get into trouble for it.

• History: Terlara was a flight child, born to two riders with no relationship to one another and rapidly fostered away into the Lower Caverns. Her parents were distant figures, and in many ways, she was mostly raised by a lower caverns worker named Manra. She grew into a fairly typical weyrbrat, with her only ambition to ride a dragon...preferably blue or green, as she liked the idea of flying fast. She learned reasonably well in her lessons, and proved to have a talent for sketching, which has become her hobby. As she grew into a young woman, she began to develop a relationship with her parents, especially her mother, but it is and remains more understanding and friendship than a true parent-child situation.
  
  She has always been defensive about her small size and worked extra hard to prove herself as a result. Her reputation is of being quiet and hard working, although she has not always stayed out of trouble...when she does let go, she keeps little restraint.
