- Personality: He is a sweet young man, he has no temper really however a few people can bring his temper to the surface. He really dislikes the way his father seems to strut about the weyr just because he is a Bronzerider he also has a pet peeve with the way so many seem to think that thread is destroyed. He believes that the old menace is just resting waiting for the right moment to return to power, he is a stout defender of his opinion he will argue with anyone who argues with his belief.
He is not like his father in the unconditional respect of those higher in rank, this is a sticking point between father and son as the other points. He is also a good boy he thinks that girls should stand for more than just gold but that is just his thoughts, he of course can not share this with anyone. Because most people dislike the idea a woman can do anything that a man can they are there just to be child bearers and to clean a place. - Family: Father,K'nor rider of Bronze Kintrath.

- History: He was born of flightlust, his father had won a flight with a male ridden green so he had sought out a drudge. This drudge was Nitra she bore K'nor a son his first ever child, he was nervous and afraid he would not be a father so instead of growing closer he left her to raise Kanit. His early years were easy for the most part he did his chores as told did what he had to then he played like any other boy. However it wasn't long before K'nor came back to give the boy attention, every Turn after his second K'nor would send him a gift.
When Kanit turned tweleve Turns he took a weyrbrats right to stand and he stood for eleven hatchings, he now awaits the newest one so that he can try again. He is frustrated and angry this is always the way of things when your raised in a weyr you stand until you impress or until you get to old to do so. He is a strong lad and will always do things the way he was taught to no matter the cost. His father is disappointe in him so far hopefully he will impress soon and will prove his father wrong that he is a dragonrider born and not just a mistake and result of flight lust.
He also had two other siblings from his mother who died, she then decided to foster so he gained many siblings. These two he barely remembers but he does know his foster siblings well, they are always at each others throats. He often starts the arguments and his mother ends them by punishing them both.
His love life has been quiet mostly he did fall in love once with a greenriding weyrling, but he died when they learned to between. This is one thing he has never forgiven his father of allowing him to even try betweening. He has never told his father how he feels about that because he does not want everyone to know that he likes men.
His lessons have been many when he learned with the Harper he did well in writing. He has a neat hand his writing is always of the utmost care, he enjoys drawing also that was something else he is good at. He learned the songs and he remembers many of them he knows of all the teaching songs and believes them.
He was born in the South though once in a while there is a breathed word that they lived in the North. Here at this Weyr is all the Kanit has ever known at times he wonders what the North was like but that is nothing to worry about.
