- Hair: Calleigh has dark brown, almost black hair. Some of it falls down to her middle back and is always put up in an intricate design. The rest is cut to frame her face.
- Eyes: Her eyes are a silver, almost gray color. They are always twinkling, whether when she works or when she rests.
- Height: She is of medium height for a person living on Pern, not too tall, and not too small. She does, however, look up to a lot of people.
- Weight: Calleigh honestly does not know what her weight is. You’d think she’d know.
- Defining characteristics: For the rest of her appearance, Calleigh has a nice, slim figure. She doesn't have too many curves, she's just slim. She is light skinned, which is uncharacteristic for the type of world the Pernese live in.
- Anything extra: Calleigh always wears either a light green or a light brown, rarely anything else. She always carries with her the gentle fragrance of flowers, and no one can figure out how she does it.

- Personality: Calleigh has a very caring personality, which helps in the line of work she is in. She is not the type to be considered shy, and is actually rather outgoing. She is not squeamish at the sight of blood, and rather likes it when she gets messy trying to help people. When she gets into her job, she gets into her job. She gains a leadership-like attitude, and is not shy about ordering even the Weyrleaders around. When she is in her element it is hard to bother her. Only when she snaps out of her almost-trance does she realize that someone wanted her.
But her whole life is not centered around her job. She is, when out of her working life, a very happy person. She rarely gets mad or sad, and the only reasons she has to do so would be because of a death that she could not help, or a very large injury. She almost always keeps to the lighter side of life, and smiles whenever she can. She is not one, though, to crack jokes to make people around her happy. She is a kind of person who just exudes and aura of happiness. She doesn't strive to make other people as well as herself, unless she's working. - Family:

Species: Fire-lizard
Color: Blue
Appearance: Axen is a startling blue colored fire-lizard. His blue is more neon blue than anything else. He has a dark blue, almost navy blue, dot on his chest.
Personality: Axen is a chipper beast. He likes to fly around, flitting at very high speeds. He is, however, trained to do Healing work (taking messages, and finding supplies). - History:
Calleigh was born to a loving mother. Her father had died barely three months before her birth due to an illness that could not be cured. Calleigh grew up in a small Hold outside of Castaway Weyr. The inhabitants of the Hold were constantly getting sick since there were no Healers. Calleigh was one of the few people to rarely get sick, and so did not look sickly like most of the inhabitants of the Weyr.
One day a traveler came to the Hold. He was a Journeyman Healer, and he quickly surmised that the food the Hold was eating was tainted with some sort of poison. He marveled that some people had not gotten sick, while others had. He quickly fixed the problem and made sure everyone was a little more healthy, and then left. Nearly Two Turns later, no matter what Calleigh tried to do to help her, Calleigh's mother died. Ever since that day, Calleigh vowed to try and Heal anyone she possibly could.
But just simply Healing was hard to accomplish. The Journeyman Healer didn't come back to the Hold until a Turn after her mother's death, only a Turn and a half since he'd last been to the Hold. Calleigh expressed her interest in Healing. He quickly accepted her as his apprentice. For the first time in her whole live of 13 1/2 Turns, Calleigh left her Hold. Since then she and her teacher travelled to other Holds, but never Castaway Weyr, staying for long amounts of time until some other place needed them. The Healer was amazed by how much and how rapidly his apprentice learned, and by how much she remembered.
Soon after her 18th Turn of life, the Journeyman Healer made her a full-fledged Healer. It was only then that they first arrived at Castaway Weyr. There was no sickness here, but the Journeyman Healer wanted to stay here for a while. Calleigh had no choice but to agree. Not that she had wanted to disagree in the first place. Castaway Weyr was a nice place. Once she'd finally settled down, the MasterHealer from Healer Hall called upon her. She was made, after a Turn, into a JourneymanHealer.
Her 24th Turn of life came and went. She still lived at Castaway Weyr, even though her former teacher had left. On they day of her 25th birthday, a Rider sent for her from the Healer's Hall, again. She arrived at the Healer's Hall, and stayed there for a couple of months, until the MasterHealer summoned her to his rooms. He was very impressed with her, and told her that he wanted her to train other JourneymanHealers. So Calleigh started to train other Healers, not all Journeymen.
Calleigh returned to Castaway Weyr, a semi-new woman. Until, almost 6 Turns later, on her 31st Turn of life, when a dragonrider was sent to fetch her. This time, in the MasterHealer’s place, the MasterHealer made her into a MasterHealer like himself. Calleigh was surprised and delighted, and so returned as a MasterHealer to Castaway Weyr.
