There was once a time where two weyrs on the Southern Continent had their trials and successes. On one side there was Rukai, and on the other there was Baikal. Though the two did not know of one another, their fates would be intertwined by two riders. Turn 17th of the 6th pass marked a turn of trials for both weyrs. Rukai was formed and currently being controlled by a cruel and ruthless greenrider while Baikal was just starting over after two turns of abandonment. Unfortunately, events just do not allow Baikal to thrive like she once had; High Reaches, though supportive of Rukai and her sports, hated Baikal and her sports. The weyr poisoned the lake in Turn 18 and killed Gold Siranrith and it was thought to have taken the life of Gold Shivith and her rider Ashllyn.
Four turns after the abandonment of Baikal, Rukai suffers her end by means of a natural disaster. A large tidal wave surged through the top of the underground weyr and flooded the weyr, claiming the lives of newly laid eggs by gold Izareth, the gold herself and her rider. The survivors moved on to another place, away from Southern. They found themselves at the Eastern Isle, forming Nashira. Yet, at the same time Nashira was formed, Ashllyn and Shivith arrive from 100 turns in the future. There, they had discovered Baikal's waters cleaned, but when they returned it was not the same. The dark gold pair attempted to join Avalon (where all of Baikal's surviving numbers had formed) but the weyr was stable and there was no room for another gold. They directed her to Nashira.
That was 6 turns ago, and now in Turn 28 Shivith has risen and has been caught once again by bronze Kaytath. She has just recently graced the sands with a healthy clutch of 16 eggs, one being a Gold Egg. The orders have been given for Searchriders to go Search for candidates, and life is bustling again at the prospect of another hatching. Gold Marsk has started her run not long after Shivith's recent clutch hatches, bringing the prospect of wher eggs to Nashira soon. Gold Aeroth is looking mighty healthy as well, meaning the possibility of another dragon clutch on its way.
