Ir'en grinned as Brath glided toward the wherry and herdbeast pens.
Brath landed and groaned. I'm so hungry! Can I eat now?
Ir'en laughed as he jumped down from the Brown's back.Yes, yes...go eat now. Don't gorge though! I want to be able to fly back to our weyr sometime soon! he patted Brath and smiled.
Ir'en sighed and sank to sit on the ground.
" Well Ir'en, feeding Brath are we?" Ir'en jumped, but looked up to see H'del. " I'm feeding Malloth today too!" H'del grinned and sat down.
" It is a great day to feed a hungry dragon. To think about it, you really have to feed a dragon when he or she asks." he smiled too.

Glidding slowly on the soft currents, Zoldth swung her head from side to side in a content fashion. Sitting on her neck, cradling the new addition to their odd little family, was Freya with the Green flitt, Moss.
I'm hungry, FreyaMine, Zoldth rumbled as she spotted the open feilds up ahead. The fact that there were already two other dragons; a Bronze and a Brown, didn't bother her, or her Rider.
Then land, silly Dragon-With-My-Heart, Freya thought, resting one hand on Zoldth's massive green neck as she braced herself for the short chance she would have to dismounting the Green. Just give me enough time to get off, this time, she giggled, remembering last time.
Now would be a good time, Zoldth teased, as she landed, her claws barely touching the ground, as Freya slipped off her neck. The Green dipped her head to the two male Riders, before turning and lunging out over the herdbeasts. Shaking her head, Freya turned to the other Riders and grinned, allowing Moss to slip to her shoulder, before making her way towards the other two. "Hi there!" she called, giving the two males a chance to send her away, least she be interupting anything.[/sup]

They looked around in unison as they heard the female voice. H'del's face grew into a grin while Ir'en simply had on a more polite smile.
" Hey there! Hmmm...you look a little familiar, I'm H'del by the way! Are you in my Wing?" H'del was smiling as he got up to welcome the new person to the group of "feeders".
" And I'm Ir'en, we are both in Eclipse...if I'm not mistaken though, you're Freya right? Green...ah...Zoldth's rider, thanks Brath! Brath is my Brown." Ir'en also got up out of respect to their new company...something he had picked up from, who else but, H'del.
" And the Bronze is my Malloth!" H'del laughed as he gestured for Freya to sit on the ground where they had been a minute ago. " We could be here a while, Malloth and Brath are starving. Now at least we have a pretty dragonrider to speak with for a while." he winked in her direction.
Ir'en laughed at his Wingleader's antics and nodded at Freya.

Freya grinned at the two Riders, but took up their offer of joining them. She sat down, crossing her legs, as Moss crawled in her lap and held out her wings, suning herself. She grinned at the little flitt, and sratched her eyeridge, turning her attention back to the two Riders.
"Yes. I am Freya of Green Zoldth," she said, glancing over at her lifepartner, finding her in the process of catching a herdbeast and carrying it off to a little spot she had claimed for the time being. Her gazed turned back to Ir'en and H'del. "It's nice to meet both of you, Riders and dragons. . . . . As for the Wings, I can't say I'm really part of any Wings just yet. I only arrived recently, so haven't really found the time to talk to the Weyrwoman about Wings," she said, the grinning starting to disappear, until Moss moved and nipped at her leg in attempt to catch a bug.
She nodded absently. "Zoldth has a bad habit of coming extremely close to gorging, so I have to watch her, or I'll never get her back off the ground," she said, looking to the Brown Brath and Bronze Malloth. "Both of your dragons are beautiful," she said, a look in her eye that any dragonrider gets while looking upon a dragon. [/sup]

A Blue dragon seemed to detach itself from the great mass 'o blue which is also known as the sky. The lithe beast dove down with speed at the herdbeasts, seemingly having picked one out of the disorderly and panicked crowed. Thanks only to his fast reactions did the Dragon catch one of the skittish beasts. Talons dug into flesh and crimson blood oozed out, coating the talons and dripping down to the green grass below. A fine trail of lightly spattered blood could have led any who were interested to find the final resting place of the Herdbeast. Tiath's teeth sunk into the creatures flesh in a messy and eager manner, making a mess as he did.
K'mo could feel the joy and satisfaction that his beloved dragon felt after the successful hunt. The blue rider came up behind the small gathering of Riders who were watching their hungry Dragons feast. It was a fine chance that so many dragons decided to feed at the same time. Any dragons who came later may have a bit more of a challenge as the Herdbeast could be more skittish after some of their number had been whisked away into the skies only to end up as dinner. K'mo arrived in time to hear the introductions given, although he had been at the Weyr to know most of it already. 'Mind if I join you?' The Blue rider asked as he sat down also, not waiting for an answer.

" Thanks, your dragon is quite beautiful too." They both said in unison...then burst out laughing.
" Do join us K'mo!" H'del said, grinning. Ir'en nodded towards the newcomer and looked back to the pens to see Brath swoop down on his second, large herdbeast. Malloth was on his second beast also, a wherry, eating slopily.
" Malloth is a sloppy eater...but he always cleans up nice." H'del smiled and his eyes got a little cloudy.
" Ha, Brath whines when he gets even a little bloody! He usually sucks out all the blood first...then eats." Ir'en made a little gagging noise but smiled.

K'mo had to laugh at just how in tune with each other the Bronze and Brown riders were. They were both in the same wing if he remembered rightly. K'mo was in the Nebula wing so he hadn't spent a whole lot of time with either man but it was all good.
'Tiath doesn't complain, he just likes to dive into some water to wash it other, then come and shake it off as near to me as possible in an attempt to soak me.' K'mo laughed and shook his head. He now made it a habit to try and be somewhere deep inside the Weyr when Tiath finished eating so that those little droplets of wetness would not find his clothing and hair and stick to them, being absorbed by them and leaving him wetter than his dragon on occasions.
Before he knew it, Tiath had finished his first herdbeast before going for a second. He was not too keen on wherry so his blood covered maw made a bee-line for one and snapped shut around it's neck, carrying it off to continue his feast.

" Malloth never really shakes off on me, but he does enjoy splashing." H'del laughed. Just then a pop sounded in the air and H'del held out his arm, which was weighed down by a brown fire-lizard.
" I was wondering when you would wake up Rave!" the man smiled and petted his brown fire-lizard. " I think that Malloth is willing to share some, so go on and get some fresh meat you little tub of lard." The brown chirped happily and dashed off like an arrow.
" Rave always sleeps late H'del?" Ir'en asked.

Grinning as the Blue rider joined them, Freya couldn't help but feel her eyes drawn to the sight of the Blue ripping his kill apart. She had thought Zoldth was messy, but maybe she had thought wrong. Noticing that a little Brown flitt popped in from between Freya looked down at Moss, nudging the tired little flitt awake. "Are you hungry, dear one?" she asked, only to have to little flitt nip at her fingers in rejection. "Ok." She curled her fingers up, pressing the small droplets of blood to her shirt so it wouldn't attrach attention. "I thought Zoldth was messy," she said, grinning, her attention back on the dragons, "But it would seem the males have her beat in messiness, minus danity Malloth," she jidded, grinning at H'del before looking away noticing Zoldth had just plucked another herdbeast and was dripping blood on the claws and forelegs as she held the kicking beast down. " Hey now Freya, you looked like you got nipped there!" Ir'en said in concern. " I have a bit of numbweed in my belt pouch if u want some for it, keep off the infection." He pulled out the container and offered it to the woman.
" That's Ir'en, always looking out for everyone." H'del snickered. Ir'en elbowed him in the ribs laughing, both collapsed back tears streaming down their faces uncontrollably from the laughter.
" I have to look after everyone! You can't even look after yourself!" But it was plain that Ir'en was joking.
" There they both go again." grinned H'del pointing.
Brath had another herdbeast pinned down and was going to work on it while Malloth simply chomped a wherry nearly in half and ate from the carcass. H'del grinned as Rave came flying back in, considerably heavier than before.
" Gorged again, he did. He won't wake up for the rest of the day!" H'del held out both arms and caught the fire-lizard, who was asleep as soon as he hit the extended arms.
