Ravaged by a fatal illness, Aldesia Weyr has lost both its Weyrwoman and Weyrleader, as well as over 1/2 of it's riders and dragons. Cerosia Hold and the surrounding small holds have also suffered great losses and some blame the riders for not helping stop this epidemic before it claimed so many. Now the Weyr must recover, and recover soon.
But, hope still lives on within the Weyr. Before vanishing between after her rider's death, Gold Queen Arerth graced Aldesia Weyr with a clutch of 28 eggs, including two queen eggs. Even now, the Search for candidates has begun.
