"Byronth is hungry too," T'rin answered. Rhani bumped the boy's ear with his snout, his way of saying he wanted a share of food too.
Is he going to feed us now? Byronth gazed hopefully at the Weyrlingmaster.

Food? Food? I'm hungry Dev!
Dev chuckled softly and answered the weyrling master, "Cupith says he's hungry too." Her green eyes were amused, regarding the weyrlingmaster with a cool appraisal.

"All right kids I have set out food for the Dragonets. Make sure they don't eat to much I will also answer any questions that you may have." K'nor told them all with a grin and he pointed over to a table that had several buckets of pre cut meat chunks for them. He waited to see what the kids were going to do.

Dr'ym walked over to the food tables with Claudiuth. He could see the anticipation in the little bronzes eyes...whirling softly.
" Ok Claudi! Here you go, now you heard him...don't eat too much. I can't really carry you back to the barracks!" Dr'ym smiled as Claudiuth began to eat, slowly.
Fine, but if I get hungry later...you have to feed me again. You probably would anyway! Claudiuth was so cheerful that he soon consumed all that he could safely eat and stay awake.
Dr'ym slowly walked back to a "student" table with the happily full Claudiuth and sat down. " Oh, K'nor sir! Do you have any oil for us?" Dr'ym asked.

"Yes, there is some up here, since you have all impressed I hope to see you doing these things daily with your Dragonets. I will also have Kintrath checking on you all every so often, I will know if you forget your Dragonets care." He knew they wouldn't but he said it anyway as he watched them knowing that the kids and Dragonets were going to be all right no matter what happened.
K'it and Chaamth were back getting food when Chaamth started to eat faster than he should have. K'it didn't know what to do so he called out the Weyrlingmaster, in concern because he was afraid of Chaamth getting hurt in any way. "Father, should he be eating that fast?" K'it asked as he watched the blue.

Z'war guided Muzith over to the food and started carefully selecting chunks. One was too big...he left it for a bronze or the gold. "Slowly," he told the cream.
But it's good, Muzith complained.
"Indigestion isn't."
He could have sworn his dragon got kinda...pouty...for a moment.

Dr'ym spotted the oil. " Thank you Weyrlingmaster!" He smiled at K'nor as he went over with sluggish Claudiuth and began to oil him.
Much better Dr'ym! But there is one more spot on my stomach...
" Ok, I got it! Aaannnddd....there!!" Dr'ym straightened up as he finished oiling Claudiuth. The dragonet was shiny and happy. Now all they had to do was sit around and listen to questions and answers. They went back to their spot in the classroom.

"All right Dr'ym, have you yet bathed Claudiuth for the first time?" K'nor asked as he watched the other students his son in particular. He was not happy the boy had impressed a Blue, when he heard the question he answered with a shake of his head.
K'it then made Chaamth slow down in his eating wanted to make sure he took care of Chaamth right but he wasn't completely sure how to do that.

Z'war finally glanced over. Muzith had stopped trying to choke himself on the meat. "Dr'ym, you found the oil...where is it?" he called to the bronze weyrling, cheerfully. He was so glad...well...he had fallen into a kind of rightness. He had expected a blue, he had got this odd colored dragon...who was perfect for him. Perfect.
The interaction between K'nor and K'it did catch his attention. He was not sure why K'nor seemed a little...concerned? Was that it? He was not sure.

T'rin sighed as Byronth gave a relieved sigh. Finally. The pair hurried to the tables, where the little Blue tried to start snatching the food with the same voracity he had when he first hatched.
"Didn't you hear the Weyrlingmaster?" T'rin asked his dragon, taking his head in his hands to stop Byronth for a moment. "You have to eat slow, and not too much." Although he seemed reluctant to agree with that, the Blue obeyed and allowed T'rin to help him pick out what to eat and keep him at a more normal rate. Soon Byronth pronounced himself full enough.
"So I guess I oil you now..." T'rin glanced over to where Dr'ym had been a moment ago, oiling his Bronze. The pair headed to there and the Weyrling set to oiling his happy dragon's hide.

K'nor smiled at the kids with a heavy sigh he saw that they were indeed well set up for what they would be dealing with in the coming sevendays. He needed some time to gather his senses and then he would prepare a lesson for them right now he needed to figure out what to do for the next lesson about bonding to your Dragon.
"All right kids tommorrow I want to see you here with your Dragonets. We will be covering the bond that you will share with them in the coming years." K'nor knew that it might be pointless but at least he needed to try.
