"Well done A'tair I think that you learned your lessons well. Next lesson you do not have to be there seeing as you learned well." K'nor smiled as he looked at the boy and then smiled as Kintrath told him the confusing words the Brown had sent to the big bronze.
"Dear girl I will take two eggs please." K'nor smiled as he thought of what he would tellt he others tonight before lights out, he hoped to tell them of this encounter today. He actually wanted to talk to the Weyrwoman about the boy he had impressed his Weyrling Master.
No, Romeoth I can not deny it though realize Mine is only looking out for your best interests in warning Yours nothing more. Kintrath told the Brown as His chuckled he was pleased by the Brown nothing could change that.

Smoothing out an imaginary crease in her skirt, as she waited for and then listened to the answers she was being given, Keri nodded silently as each decision was made. Her attention flicking from one to the other as they each spoke in turn. She didn't make any comment in regards to the discussion between Weyrlingmaster and Weyrling - it wasn't her place to do so - but she too did question to herself how anyone could neglect a dragon in favour of a firelizard. Sure, she didn't know what being impressed to a dragon was yet?, but she knew that while she'd doted on Nalyn as a hatchling she wouldn't have done it at the expense of another.
The train of thought was dismissed when a lull in conversation occured, and Keri took the opportunity to pot the eggs that the people around her had decided on. There hadn't been time between the different people answering her, so she had ending up with three people's eggs to sort at once. It made her frown a little in thought, as she paused to make sure she was remembering correctly, but after a moment she began the careful relocation of the eggs - starting, logically in her mind at least, with the Weyrling's. He had picked out which egg he wanted, and so it made sense Keri figured, to give him that one first - so that it would be easier for her to randomly pick the others without having to avoid the already chosen egg.
"It should hatch in a day or so at most," the candidate told the Weyrling with a small smile as she handed him the potted egg. She had no idea what colour each egg held, but privately she was guessing - and memorising the weyrlings face to her mind so she could check on her guess later. A blue she had decided for this egg.
The candidates egg was next to be chosen, and Keri selected the egg right in the center of the basket for the candidates second egg. A green this one, Keri decided, guessing only after she'd removed the egg and potted it. She was making a point of not choosing them based on what she thought they were, she was guessing -after- she had committed herself to each egg. "Again, they should hatch in a day or so..." the other egg she'd given the girl had been a tiny bit harder, Keri thought, but maybe it was just her memory playing tricks, Keri couldn't be sure.
"And," Keri announced, turning and selecting the nearest egg to her for the Weyrlingmaster's second egg, "for you," she declared, not repeating herself again in regards to the eggs probably hatching in a day or so. That one, she had decided, was another green.
OOC: I gave them all numbers, then randomized who got what - go ahead and have them hatch whenever (and if you don't wanna roll play the hatching that's fine, I don't mind): Terlara - Bronze & Blue K'nor - Brown & Green A'tair - Green Kalae - Brown Shaeyn - Blue Kaeressa - Green As you can see, Keri's guesses were wrong more then they were right, but *shrug*... And I did take one each for both of my characters... but there are still two more eggs, if anyone hasn't replied yet (or, if you want a second Dev). Otherwise I'll call them duds.

Ala and Vir didn't have much trouble getting A'vic to the Dining hall, under the pretense that he was getting food of course. Her brother would never turn down food. Yaphorath had apparently decided to keep the fire-lizard hatching a secret from His too, because A'vic didn't catch on until he reached the hall and noticed Keri with her basket of flitt eggs.
"Oh shards Ala, I don't want a fire-lizard..." He turned and started to head out again. Vir squawked and dove in front of him and Ala grabbed his wrist.
"Aw, but wouldn't it be so fun? I think there's enough left for us to each get one, we could raise them together! I know Vir would love having a little brother or sister."
"Well, then why don't you just get one?" A'vic scowled and pulled away from his sister.
Ala put her hands on her hips and exchanged a look with Vir. A'vic, she had long ago decided, needed a fire-lizard. Yes. Here was a perfect chance for him to get one and she wasn't about to let him pass it up. "I'll help you raise it, okay?"
"No!" He glared as Ala grabbed him again and started dragging him across the hall to where Keri waited. Vir fluttered onto A'vic's head and dug his claws gently and discreetly into the Blueriders scalp. That would probably be enough to get him to do what Ala wanted- and she was sure her brother would appreciate her helping him get a flitt in the long run.
Guided more by the pain in the top of his head from the little Bronze fire-lizard perched there, A'vic reluctantly followed Ala and waited silently while she grinned at Keri.
"Could me and A'vic get an egg?" It looked like there were two left- just perfect.

OOC: Sparrow, my muse is gone totally today it seems, go ahead and say they were given eggs... it was a Brown and a Blue remaining, you can choose how you want your characters to have them.
And Dev/Kalae, if you wanted a second egg, just let me know and you can have the one of the two I assigned myself.

Kalae grinned slightly at the candidate. "Only one. I don't particularly relish Morri's reaction if I take two. I'll have one." So saying, she reached out and picked up one of the eggs, a fair sized one, but not so big she thought it would be another bronze. Graff hissed softly as he was unbalanced as she bent over. "Thank you." the woman said as she took a small pot of sand for it. She didn't want to have much trouble bringing it up to her weyr, where she could watch it.
